Nadia Kamal is the Principal and Owner of Onyx Group, a Tallahassee-based marketing communications agency offering a full spectrum of services, including: Branding, Advertising, Corporate Identity and Collateral Design, Web and Multimedia Design, Creative Strategy, and Graphic Facilitation. Since its inception in June of 2007, the agency won the 2007 Tally Award for "Best Web and Graphic Design" and was named the 2008 "Emerging Business of the Year" by the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.
Interactive media and web design are Onyx Group's specialties. Nadia is regarded as one of the area's experts in new media and brand integration, and she maintains an up-to-date knowledge of trends in the advertising industry. She enjoys immensely tackling the ever-evolving challenges of the marketing field, as well as the long-term professional relationships that she has built with her clients. In one year of business Nadia and her agency have already helped over one hundred clients convey their brand messages more effectively and economically.
A successful entrepreneur, Nadia has built up and operated two businesses. Prior to this, she honed her leadership skills and business savvy in the corporate world, where she handled accounting, regulatory compliance, and the financial management of over four billion dollars. Through her varied experiences Nadia has acquired an insider’s knowledge of everything from entrepreneurial and financial strategy, to the development and marketing of franchise concepts, to the operational development of retail and corporate structures.
A South Florida native and a graduate of Florida State University with a BS in Accounting, Nadia currently resides in Crawfordville with her husband, five-year-old son, and one-year-old baby girl.
