Professional psychotherapist Veronica Bojerski is currently employed as a child and family psychotherapist at The Child & Family Counseling Center of Westlake, Ohio, The private practice allows Veronica Bojerski to exercise a wide range of her abilities in the areas of clinical assessment, teaching, counseling, treatment plans, wellness, art/play therapy, guest speaking, and crisis intervention.
In the one and a half years Veronica Bojerski has been with The Child & Family Counseling Center of Westlake, she has been availed the possibility to provide children and their families with psychotherapy, assisting countless people work through/come to a level of acceptance with difficult situations, understand illness, build upon their strengths, attain desired goals and overall increase knowledge/ and use of healthy coping skills. Veronica Bojerski has proven adept at consulting with staff psychiatrists, pediatricians, other medical professionals, school personnel, children's protective services and juvenile court as needed. Areas of focus include Anxiety Disorders, Attention Defecit Hyperactivty Disorder and improving family relationship dynamics-particularly mother/daughter issues. She conducts clinical diagnostic assessments, provides service to a minimum of 25 families per week and offers several evenings for appointments.
As part of her desire to help others, Veronica Bojerski has been a figure in guest speaking forums and yoga/holisitc health education classes. Over the last decade, some of Veronica’s more noteworthy acts have been facilitating a creative writing workshop, co-lecturing on the topic of eating disorders for a continuing education seminar, speaking on the topic of yoga and stress management, and conducting a yoga class at Center for Families & Children/RAPART Health Fair in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Veronica Bojerski is certified by the State of Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Ms. Bojerski is a graduate of Cleveland State University and John Carroll University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, respectively. Veronica Bojerski is also a Certified Level I Yoga Instructor and Certified Holistic Health Educator who has begun the process to become a Certified Pregnancy/Labor & Postpartum Doula. Veronica Bojerski is currently writing a workbook of templates for children and family therapist's to use in their own practices.
