Praxis Physical Therapy Celebrates 5 Anniversary in Vernon Hills, IL Well-known, Kordecki, serving patients for over 20 years
November 18, 2009, —Praxis Physical Therapy and Human Performance is pleased to announce their fifth anniversary celebration. Serving those patients with orthopaedic, sports and workers compensation injuries, Praxis has treated over 3,820 patients primarily from the Lake County and NW Cook County areas of Illinois since opening their doors on November 6, 2004. Whether the injury involves shoulder, elbow, knee, back or neck pain, the physical therapy staff at Praxis is well equipped to handle the rehabilitation. The facility includes traditional treatment equipment, as well as apparatus for functional sports drills, throwing, balance and running to get you back on your feet for work or your favorite recreational or professional sport.
Wholly owned and operated by Michael E. Kordecki, DPT, ATC, SCS, opening Praxis Physical Therapy was the realization of a dream. “As many of those who know me will attest, I am incredibly passionate about providing quality hands on physical therapy care by licensed physical therapists for every patient, at a reasonable cost. The way to ensure that I could provide excellence of care, catering to the needs of my patients, was to open Praxis.” Kordecki has built a physical therapy team of motivating, dedicated, quality professionals to support the business. Since 1987 Kordecki has been practicing physical therapy first in Vernon Hills, then in Lake Forest and Libertyville. “Some of our patients I rehabbed years ago for simple knee scopes, and those same patients are going through knee replacement rehab currently.” In Illinois physician referrals are required for physical therapy treatment, so positive physician and patient relationships and referrals are essential to success. “I am so grateful for every referral we receive from a patient or a physician.
