Washington, DC September17, 2009 – The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Author Pavilion begins Thursday, September 24th in Washington, DC. A who's who of best selling authors will be meeting, greeting and conducting book signings for their loyal readership.
The Wealthy Speaker Show wants you to learn more about these amazing authors prior to their arrival so you will be familiar, aware and informed about them and their books.
On Thursday, Sept 17, 1:00pm (EST), Janis F. Kearney, author of "Something to Write Home About: Memories from a Presidential Diarist" will be interviewed on The Wealthy Speaker Show. She was the diarist for President William Jefferson Clinton.
On Friday, Sept 18, 1:00pm (EST), Kareem Moody, author of Raise Them Up: The Real Deal on Reaching unreachable Kids," will be interviewed. He is a youth advocate and leads a male initiative program in Little Rock, Arkansas. Kareem is strneghtning communities throughout Arkansas.
On Monday, Sept 21, 7:00pm (EST), Charisse Carney-Nunes, author of I am Barack discusses her amazing childrens book. She is the schoolmate of President Barack Obama, they attended Harvard Law Scool together and she was the former president of the Harvard Black Law Students Association of which President Obama was a member i the early 90s.
On Tuesday, Sept 22, 11AM (EST), Dr Peggy Brooks-Bertram & Dr Barbara Seals Nevergold share amazing insight about their book, Go, Tell Michelle, African American Women Write to the New First Lady. They received letters from 100 African American women from around the globe and its an amazing book and one all people should read.
Tuesday, Sept 22, 1PM (EST) Terrie Williams, Mental Health Advocate & Author will be interviewed and will discuss her book: Black Pain It Just Looks Like We Are Not hurting. Terrie founded and leads The Terrie Williams Agency and her client list consist of Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Will Downing, Miles Davis, Sean Combs, Kathleen Battle, Najee and many others.
Wednesday, Sept 23, 11:00am (EST) LaVerne McCain Gill, author of African American Women in Congress Forming and Transforming History is guest of The Wealthy Speaker Show, she is a minister and author and is goingto share a unique and one-of-its kind perspective of African American women legislators.
