No other organization offers the same range of benefits, including free financial assistance with issues like telephone, electric, gas, and other utility bills. For those looking to make more money, there are programs for diabetic government jobs placement in organizations like the Postal Service and scholarships and grants to give diabetics a leg up in improving their education. This is in addition to the free diabetes medicine program and over 1000 free diabetic-friendly recipes to help keep diabetes under control. Special programs provide targeted financial assistance to diabetic women and minorities, and provide handicapped assistance programs.
