OVERLAND PARK, KS – September 27, 2007 – Aplus.Net, a leading web hosting company and Internet solutions provider, today launched a completely overhauled and redesigned version of its main website, www.aplus.net. The new site is designed to offer greatly improved navigation to visitors while also updating the Aplus.Net image for a new era.
“We worked hard to come up with a dynamic and customer-friendly design that reflects the fact that, although our emphasis and our expertise are still firmly based upon helping small businesses succeed online, we’re also entering into an exciting new era for Aplus.Net and our more than 90,000 customers,” said Gabriel Murphy, President and CEO of Aplus.Net.
While the new website boasts a modernized look and feel, it is still consistent with the company brand and immediately recognizable as Aplus.Net. The color palette remains the same, and Aplus.Net’s logo, which was itself overhauled in May, will also be left unchanged.
The site’s layout continues to reflects a simple, classic look and feel, but with modern flourishes, updated graphics, and greatly improved ease of use. Gone are the constantly shifting sub-menus that once followed cursors through the horizontal main menu. The main menu remains horizontal, but is now accompanied by a new animated sidebar to provide improved visibility for Aplus.Net’s most popular products and services.
“Our many customers are the foundation of Aplus.Net, and so we wanted to offer them a website that’s easier than ever to navigate and to understand,” said Ryan Elledge, Aplus.Net’s Chief Operations Officer. “These improvements were designed first and foremost to make the Aplus.Net shopping experience as customer-friendly and as enjoyable as possible. Secondly, it was important to update our image to let the world know that, whatever new advances the future of online business may bring, you’ll find it here first.”
The launch was timed to occur just days before the much-anticipated unveiling of the new Aplus.Net web design page (scheduled for the first of October), which will offer the newly acquired Web Image brand of web design templates. Sub-domains for Domain Names and Dedicated Servers have already been successfully launched in recent weeks, as well.
